Browns No. 1 overall pick Myles Garrett has signed his four-year rookie contract, the club announced.

The deal is worth a projected $30,427,000, including a more than $20 million signing bonus. It includes a fifth-year club option.

The Browns now have six of their draft picks under contract: third-round defensive lineman Larry Ogunjobi, fourth-round defensive Howard Wilson, fifth-round offensive lineman Rod Johnson, seventh-round kick Zane Gonzalez and seventh-round running back Matthew Dayes.

Unsigned picks are first-rounders Jabrill Peppers and David Njoku; second-round quarterback DeShone Kizer and sixth-round defensive lineman Caleb Brantley.

Garrett's signing comes days after he elicited a "holy smokes!'' from coach Hue Jackson after exploding around the edge for a would-be sack of DeShone Kizer on day two of rookie camp.

The play came on the same day that Garrett revealed in his press conference that Hall of Famer defensive end Bruce Smith, who's mentoring the Texas A&M product, told him he was slow off the ball.
