Alfred Morris carried the ball 11 times Sunday. It was the most carries he's had in a game since a blowout win in Cleveland a year ago. It was only the second time in his two seasons with the Cowboys that he had double-digit rushing attempts in a game.

Morris averaged 4.8 yards per carry against the Falcons as he finished with 53 yards. He was starting in place of Ezekiel Elliott, who has averaged 4.7 yards per carry during his Cowboys career.

But playing without Elliott and left tackle Tyron Smith had a significant impact on the running game, which managed only 43 yards in the first half.
